Privacy Policy

Overview

ImageAltGen ("we", "the Service") is operated by an independent developer. This policy explains what data the Service handles — and, just as importantly, what it does not. The short version: we never store your images.

What We Process

• • Image URLs you submit — processed in memory to generate alt text, then discarded. Images are never downloaded to permanent storage, never shared, and never used to train models.
• • Generated alt text — returned directly to you and not persisted after your session.
• • Account & purchase data — if you buy credits, our payment processor (Creem) handles your payment details and provides us with your license key and email.
• • Basic usage data — aggregate, non-identifying usage information to keep the Service running.

Third-Party Services

We rely on a small number of processors to operate the Service:

• • AI vision provider — receives the image URLs you submit, solely to generate your alt text.
• • Creem — our merchant of record; processes payments and applicable sales tax.
• • Vercel — hosts the web application.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers. We run no third-party advertising trackers.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you at any time by emailing hello@imagealtgen.com. Since we store almost nothing, requests are usually quick to fulfill.

Changes to This Policy

If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above. Material changes will be flagged on the site.
